New Years in the Villa

We have stayed a lot of places on JVD, but this was one of the nicest (and newest). The views of Great Harbor are spectacular and the accomodations themselves are first class. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful and of course, your hosts are most gracious!!

The views from the villa are fabulous! The villa itself is amazingly clean and quite comfortable. The owners, Karen and Nigel, go out of their way to make sure their guests are enjoying the island. The grounds around the villa are abundant in flowers and fruit trees. We enjoyed our stay at Ocean View Villa and can't wait to return.

I think my girlfriend and I agree that our stay at Oceanview Villas may have surpassed any other hotel stay either of us has EVER had. It was perfect. From the super-spacious living area, to the wonderfully cozy bed, to the large, stone shower (and the fantastic water pressure), to the gorgeous kitchen (and thanks so much for the beer-stocked fridge - what a treat!). And that just covers the indoor space, because that balcony? Whew! This apartment must literally have the BEST view on the island. And being up on the hill (SO worth the walk) not only gave us incredible views (I mean rainbows and sailboats and glowing heavens), but the most delicious breeze every night, I just want to live there all year round.
Well done. I can't wait to be back and would never think to stay anywhere else.

We absolutely loved this villa!!! Everything was nice, new and clean. We were greeted at the dock and given a ride to the villa and had a beautiful flower arrangement and bottle of champagne to welcome us. It is in walking distance to Great Harbor and White Bay which is where we spent a majority of our time so worked perfect. We loved waking up to this beautiful view and enjoying it in the evenings as well. I would highly recommend this place as you won't be disappointed!

I stayed here between Christmas and New Years and it was incredible. The view is spectacular, the home was neat and clean, and the host was a pleasure to work with.
Caution : make sure that you are not the victim of a potential scam. Beware of prices which seem too low to be true and be extremely cautious with foreign ads.
